- knob of butter
- Chopped clove of garlic
- 1 small onion chopped finely
- 150g of button mushrooms finely sliced
- 150g smoked ham cut into small squares
- 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
- Cooked pasta
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat
- Add the garlic and cook for a minute whilst stirring
- Add the onions and cook for about 10 minutes
- add the mushrooms and cook for another 10 minutes
- Add the parsley, ham and tomatoes
- Let the sauce cook for about 30 minutes
- Serve over pasta
